ok, just some quick peaks at previously completed projects - hand bags and a few quilts.

a quilt for the very special Molly. lots of blues and hot pinks, as mum is not a fan of girly girly stuff. didn't make it to he ntil she was 10 weeks as i was very snowed under, but it was loved all the same. this was my first ever finished quilt.

The blue bag is mine and i love it. very fresh and funky and big enough for all my junk!! the brown outer and cream inner was a pressie for a family member. I loved the fabric, not sure what the recipient thought, never got a comment or a thank you and haven't seen it since. hmmm..

ok, so thats a brief update, have one more finished quilt and one WIP. will blog them another time.
love and stiches,
sharyn

almost ready to SEW again.

well, end of year reports are due 9 am monday, so I am free to sew (well, kind of) from then. I have 6 classes of 30 to write and i am almost finished. Tomorrow is earmarked for proofreading, so once they are handed in a am a bit free. As i am not a homeroom teacher, apart from fixing up the inevitable minor errors my task complete.

SO, my plan is to piece the next baby girl cot quilt and sew the top together maybe tomorrow or monday night and then Tuesday take it and my red and white inspired cot quilt and pin them at work. They have to most perfect tables in the computer room for the pinning of quilts. They are huge and already scratched. Ten i can hopefully have both quilted and ready a) before xmas and b) before the babies arrive.

ok, so i'll try and add a sneak peak at the baby girl fabrics...

OK, off to bath and bed these kidlets, and finish these reports..
love and stiches xoxo

welcome to Not SEW sure

Hi. My Name is Sharyn and I am a newbie sewer and Quilter. This is just a page for me to display my projects (successes and flops) and keep all my "quilters journal" all in one place.

I am a novice, and this was the prompt for my title - Not SEW sure. as often i am not sure about how i am going, whether i am diong it correctly, or even how the finished product looks.

well, again, welcome, and enjoy the ride.
